If you enjoy the uplifting bouncy energy of pop punk, there are few artists better suited to your taste than Harry Jxye.
The song begins with a nostalgic guitar line, before the full instrumentation comes in to build the tension. All of a sudden the band drops out leaving space for Harry's soaring vocals over a grungy guitar progression before rocketing into a massive chorus.
The lyricism in this piece is extremely clever. Not just just telling the love story between two people, but naming lots of recognisable items and relatable situations in the modern life of a girl in the alternative scene. Such as "Hot Topic and Blue Banana, this ain't your happy ever after".
A music video was released for "Daddy Issues" which sees Harry and his band performing the song with explosive energy whilst surrounded by cartoon illustrations and pink and black balloons.
