Duo Marcus Testory and Matthias Ambre form Die Kammer, and the pair are set to release their fifth studio album and with it their new sound. Writing songs about death, injury and telling morbid stories, the new album may well be their darkest and most intense yet.
From the very beginning "Ignoring My Safeword" features dark minor harmonies between the instruments. The acoustic guitar and cello sounds accompanied by electronic elements create a unique soundscape. Testory's deep commanding vocals are almost conversational in their delivery which lends itself extremely well to the storytelling that this band pride themselves on.
