Hailing from Kentucky, Kelsey Hart has years of songwriting for other artists under his belt after working as a part of World Music Publishing. In January 2023 he signed his own record deal with Curb Records and has since gone on to feature on Grand Ole Opry and the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
"Life With You" begins with sombre piano chords and Kelsey's lonely and emotive vocal. An acoustic guitar enters as he powerefully belts out the first chorus before an electric guitar plays a catchy lead line that instantly gets stuck in your head. The texture gradually expands throughout the track as drums and a bass guitar enter in the second verse.
This is an extremely well written song, remaining catchy and easily listenable while tackling relatable emotions such as being in love and wanting to support and spend time with your significant other.
