This band have a truly unique sound, and I'm here for it!
Hailing from Penryn, Cornwall, Klen formed in mid 2021 amidst the coronavirus lockdown, and are best described as garage psych with a post-punk edge. The band perform as a four piece with two drummers which makes them extremely unique in this genre.
"Compendium/Consortium" is the band's third single, and begins with a driving drum beat and chord based guitar riff before the uniquely commanding vocals enter the fray. Synth layers add to the texture in the chorus and the use of silence in the middle section of the song helps to give the track a big sound.
