Infectious melodies and relatable lyrics make this a real contender for your new favourite song.
Edinburgh based singer-songwriter Marky Wildtype has had a life long love of rock music paired with an appetite for pop. Those two genres are a match made in heaven and Marky has mastered the art of blending them together into catchy and relatable tunes.
His latest release "Tomorrow" opens with a big sound, belting drums and a huge guitar sound instantly catapult you into an energetic intro. The verse is the polar opposite, with texture dropping to just Marky's voice and an acoustic guitar. This contrast brings the focus straight to the emotive delivery of these relatable lyrics. The chorus returns to his signiature rock style with the chilling echo of "I'll see you tomorrow" taking centre stage.
