It's easy to see just how talented this artist is from the very first note.
Mild Horses is the newest project from Matthew Leuw, who has been involved with noise pop and art punk bands over the years but now says he prefers to work alone and have more creative freedom. "Eye Of The Behemoth" is a faster more lively track than previous Mild Horeses releases, and Matthew says he's always looking to do something different.
This new offering fuses elements of jazz, DnB and rock, creating a huge cinematic sound. The synthesized horns provide an ostinato almost all the way through this piece while the other instruments move around them creating a dynamic range. The drums go from loud, high energy beats to subtle and ambient cymbal swells. Overall, this track sounds like it would be fit for an exhilerating montage in a old spy film.
