Music Spotlight: Steve Young With Country Rock Classic "Feelin Fine"

Steve's songs have the swagger of a true rock and roll band. "Feelin Fine" is an instant classic.

Coined as "a top talent" by Radio 2's Bob Harris, Steve Young from the Isle of Wight released his debut EP "The Little Things" in 2014 and has since grown a following and performed his music at legendary venues around the UK. Steve is no stranger to touring having been a session guitarist for the likes of Lionel Richie and Peter Andre. During the pandemic, Steve took to social media undertaking a "Song a day" challenge that was greatly enjoyed by his fans across the globe.

HIs new offering "Feelin Fine" begins with a swaggering guitar riff accompanied by just a shaker before the rest of the instruments set the scene for the first verse. The song builds up to the chorus where an acoustic guitar begins playing a counter melody taking the song in a new direction. The guitar solo in the middle of this song is worthy of the guitar icons of old with the perfect balance of melody, dissonance and showmanship. The combination of instruments and techniques come together to make "Feelin Fine" one of the tracks of the year even if it is only March!
